The Advent season has always been a special time of grace and celebration for Christians. The themes speak to some of our deepest human longings such as: for peace, for hope, for light amid darkness, a hoped-for change in our lives, for the coming of a Savior. The whole of creation is waiting for the completion of the mission Jesus left us, a mission which brings about the reign of God, a reign of peace, justice and love. As we begin a new liturgical year, the Advent season is a wonderful time for us to think about our call to grow in faith and in our following of Jesus.  We rejoice in Jesus’ presence among us and in all of the ways that he enriches our lives.  He is our Emmanuel, God-with-us.

Please register by November 29 by calling the Retreat Center 412-381-7676.
